The Payment Goal Has Been Reached !

Contributions have been received from 22 states:
Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Montana, North Dakota, Washington, California, Illinois, Maryland, New Mexico, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Colorado, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Hawaii, and Minnesotans from over 150 cities have contributed to the cause.

Since the yellow ribbon fundraising campaign began in 1994, we have received over 1,500 contributions in the amounts of $1 to $3,000, totaling over $105,400. These contributions, plus prepayments by three signers of the voluntary assessment agreement and monies paid by some of the residents provided the funds to reach the payment goal.

Now that the goals have been met, a report* will be prepared on the project, and association's mission of education and raising awareness of the importance of green space will continue.

Minnehaha Oaks Association is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, was dissolved in early 2009. Remaining funds were transferred to a City of Hopkins park fund.
